Shrirampur / Representative – Many people celebrate their birthday in a big hotel with a party but a person (an availiya) from Shrirampur celebrated his birthday by going to a very old age home. The name of this a person (availiya) is Tehsildar Prashant Patil. Prashant Patil, who is aware of his work, celebrated his birthday by visiting Mauli Old Age Home at Chakka Shrirampur, giving sweets to the elderly and providing financial assistance to the old age home with the blessings of the elders. Subhash Dashrath Waghunde from Shrirampur runs the old age home called Mauli Old Age Home at his own expense. The old age home is home to five grandfathers, six grandmothers, a teenage orphan, a son and three salaried employees. Subhash Waghunde has started this project in his small space by taking out a personal loan of Rs. 7 lakhs. To celebrate his next birthday, Tehsildar Prashant Patil arrived at the old age home and got detailed information about the old age home from Subhash Vaghunde. Because of Corona, he distributed sweets to the elderly following all the rules and also provided financial assistance to the old age home. The event was presided over by local journalist Devidas Desai. He said that today’s birthday was unforgettable in his life and it was due to the excellent guidance of his senior sub-divisional officer Anil Pawar that he got the energy to do this good work in difficult conditions like Corona. Godam Pal, Shivaji Vaidande, Kishor Chhatwani, Vicky Kalebhau, Saheb Waghmare, Annasaheb Parkhe, Sunil Parkhe, Yogesh Nagle, Aziz Sheikh, Arun Khandagale etc. were present on this occasion.
