Taking note of this initiative of Guru Mauli Sevabhavi Sanstha … Numerous people contributed to this work … Celebrating their special days like birthdays etc. with grandparents in the ashram … ‘Food donation’ … ‘Donation’ … ‘Labor donation’ .. ‘Clothing donation’ ‘Are helping through various means … and inspiring us to serve … We are grateful to all such people .. 

For this, you can become a donor for Mauli Old Age Home and donate food every year for your birthday, wedding anniversary or in memory of your ancestors in the house, so that there will not be too much financial burden on everyone. If 365 days are booked like this, then the problem of daily food and drink of the ashram will be solved. ₹ 2500 a year is only ₹ 6.84 a day and this is only half the price of tea. Even so, every day we serve at least one cup of tea to able-bodied people! Let’s set aside half a cup for these grandparents! In addition to this, we will consider how to collect donations to cover many expenses like employee salary, ambulance, medicine, clothes, electricity bill, phone bill, administrative expenses, building maintenance, furniture maintenance, accounting, stationery. Donors who can’t afford it can donate, as well as donate an hour a week to the ashram, or collect old-fashioned clothing for grandparents here, or take a grain round to their home area. We can contribute in many ways if we wish. There is no need to come together regularly for this, we will stay in regular contact by forming a WhatsApp group and also come together if needed.

This Ashram was inaugurated on 29/10/2017 by Shri. Subhash Dashrath Waghunde has taken out a personal loan of Rs 7 lakh without any Government help and runs the ashram at his own expense. His wife Mrs. Kalpana Vaghunde and her son Shri. Shirish Waghunde bears most of the financial burden. Some donors also help the ashram. The ashram is in a goontha space (land) and is currently in a very dense condition with two rooms, a small kitchen, a bathroom and a toilet. At present a total of 15 people including 5 grandfathers, 6 grandmothers, 1 teenage orphan and 3 salaried servants live in this small space. The ashram is full and cannot accommodate many newcomers. It’s a shame to hear the tragic story of one of these people. From time to time they donate food, donate goods, and donate clothes. They give fresh farals on Diwali. They also do free medical check-ups for everyone in the ashram. There are many ways to get help, but it still falls short. Therefore, this ashram needs help. That means not putting too much financial burden on everyone.
